Hearts 'n' Hands - Work Enrichment Program
The work enrichment program currently integrates these practical skills within a classroom setting through the use of computers, iPad applications, and two-to-one interaction with job coaches:
- Money Handling - including the use of iPad applications for teaching basic math and money exchange specific to buying and selling of goods and services
- Keyboard Skills - including touch typing training for computer and cell phone communications
- Prevocational Training � including a wide variety of kitchen, baking, inventory control, packaging, and data entry skills described in the Pet Treat Program pages
- Data Entry - including the use of a database application into which participants enter information pertaining to sales, expenses, and time tracking
- Product Development - including projects and crafts for the purpose of identifying potential products that the participants can make with minimum assistance which they may be able to sell on-line and/or at craft fairs as part of the Hearts 'n' Hands Work Enrichment product line
- Group Discussions & Reflection � including structured group free time to discuss whatever appropriate topics are on the minds of the participants and supervised lunch periods to help develop friendships through casual conversation
